What's All This

This is a blog that I've kept as I have gone through Directing III, taught by Fadi Skeiker at the University of the Arts in the spring 2021 semester. We read a variety of chapters from Anne Bogart's A Director Prepares and thought through how her ideas can be applied to our work. We watched documentaries about art including Peter Brook's The Tightrope, Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present, and Shakespeare Behind Bars. From these, I either drew immense connection or great distance that allowed me to create more precision in my individual artistry. Here you can also find my director's presentation, promotional video, and final short film of ...but the clouds... by Samuel Beckett. These were the focus of my directing artistry in this course and the final outcome of the spring. I hope you enjoy!
